Rockstar Discos in Tweed Heads & Coffs Harbour
Our first ever Rockstar Disco at Inspired Hub in Tweed Heads was a success! The decorations looked amazing and everyone had heaps of fun dancing the night away. The event was so popular that we organised another one in Coffs Harbour, which turned out to be an equal success. We’ll be continuing to further our dancing skills just in time for Halloween in our next disco events!
Register Your Dream
Doug from SA dreamed of flying in a helicopter, which was made possible through our Register Your Dream campaign. UDC helped Doug to make his dream come true and he had the experience of a lifetime with Barossa Helicopters.

Register Your Dream
Rhonda had a dream of having a night away to celebrate her 40th birthday! After she submitted her dream, UDC was happy to help make it into reality with the help of the amazing Service Leader Amy. Rhonda and Amy stayed at Mantra on Salt Beach resort for the night. They also enjoyed a spa treatment and a two-course lunch during their stay. In Rhonda’s words – She will never forget this amazing experience, and has never experienced anything like it. The room was fantastic and even had its own spa! Rhonda enjoyed some treats on arrival and soaked in the lovely view and the holiday vibe. Rhonda and Amy had dinner at the bistro where Rhonda had the biggest parma ever and the waiter was very accommodating from the moment they walked in. The next morning, they had a walk and a buffet breakfast and a coffee at the Salt Village followed by the spa treatment. Sounds like an amazing birthday getaway!
Jimmy from QLD had also been dreaming of flying in a helicopter! Support Worker Mick helped Jimmy submit the dream and we were able to help make it into reality. Jimmy and Support Worker Jocelyn headed to Gold Coast Helitours for their exciting adventure. The pilot even helped Jimmy into the helicopter for the ride. Jimmy was so happy to be in an actual helicopter as he has a little toy helicopter at home which he plays with every day and gets so excited every time he sees helicopters fly by when out and about. What an amazing day it was.
R U OK Day
We celebrated R U OK day in our offices in Coffs Harbour, Adelaide, Tweed Heads and Robina on the 8th of September by hosting a morning tea that connected all the locations virtually. The day was all about checking in with each other and starting meaningful conversations. Something that’s often forgotten about in our busy daily lives. We’ll definitely be celebrating again next year!
